Maybe you’re here because you’ve seen one of our fleet of trucks parked in front of your neighbors’ house or tooling up and down US 19 and 275 at all hours of the day and night and you figured you’d check us out. If so, that’s fantastic. We’re thrilled to have you here. But let’s be honest, you’re probably here because your heating system just decided to not to work after the latest cold front moved in off the Gulf.

Either way, you’ve got questions and we’ve got the answers that will help you make a good, solid decision about your repairs.

We see these most common issues with home heating:

  • No Heat – The air is blowing but not providing heat.  This is most likely the result of the heat coils failing.   These will probably need replacement.  In a heat pump, this can be caused by the corrosion of the ballast which switches the unit from cooling to heating.  Both of these items can usually be replaced by one of our technicians.

  • Complete Freeze – In this case, the system is cooling but the unit is completely frozen with an ice buildup around the condenser.  We need to come out to defrost everything, fix the underlying problem and then restart the system.

The advantage to you is that if you have a natural gas furnace, for example, you don’t have to call us plus a plumber (an extra service call and fee to you). We can do it all ourselves.
